Around the Gebber

It's completely terrifying to put myself out there and pictures of my own home. Especially when my photography skills leave a lot to be desired. How do you guys all do it? It's so intimidating! In any case, here's a little peak. Please, hate the photographer not the space.

This is a wall in our sunroom. It was the first thing I painted; one week after we moved in! I had been wanting to try out the chalkboard trend for so long and figured if I didn't like it, it could always be repainted. I love it though, and yes, I write out our dinner menu on it every week.

Are you tired of the chalkboard trend yet? It's everywhere in blog-o-world, but every time someone sees it at my house for the first time they think it's so neat and original!

Yes, I know it's rampant on the blogosphere, but I freakin' love this bedroom!

Face Lift

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my house, even if it is a (somewhat) cookie cutter builder home smack dab in the middle of suburbia. But these homes have me swooning. Homes like this just don't exist where I live. If I ever find something like one of these in a thirty mile radius I'll be sprinting right out of the Gebber Estate.

Hanging Out

I'd much rather be lazing around in this bedroom on this rainy summer day.

Did you know that it's National Ice Cream Month?

I think I'll celebrate this weekend by indulging in one of these delights:

Love her or hate her, this girl's style is unreal. I personally don't think she's as lackadaisical and bratty as she's portrayed on The City.
