Laundry Solution

Our laundry "room" is a closet in the upstairs hallway. While super convenient, when doing the laundry I have to keep the doors open which block the entire hallway. It sort of annoys me.

Taking the doors off and hanging pretty curtains seems like the perfect solution, don't you think?

Sunny Side Up

When we built our house the number one thing we agreed on was the addition of a sun room off the kitchen. While I do love our sun room, I can't help but find it a little dysfunctional. We have a small rectangular table that seems to crowd the space and blocks the sliding glass doors. It's the one room in the house I can't get to my satisfaction.

I *think* I'm set on building in a window seat on one wall and setting up a small dining table off to that side. Some drawers underneath could house a towel to wipe down baby dog's paws when he comes in.

Or maybe some sort of wicker sectional to cozy up the area.
And then there's all those windows. It is a sunroom, right? So I'm thinking of keeping them free of treatments, but these roman shades may be a little hard to resist.

Any suggestions?

Don't have much time today, but I super love everything about this bedroom. Fab wall color, gorge yellow canopy bed, stripey sheets, a hint of green, cute baby!

Three Years

It's our three year wedding anniversary today. Usually we'd be on vacation this time of the year, but since I got a house for Valentine's Day and a new deck for my birthday it wasn't going to happen this time. Celebrating at the Gebber instead!

Envy

Green is my favorite color and I would love to paint a room green, but I am positively terrified. I'm afraid it'll come out too 70s avocado, or too froggy, or, if I go the turquoise root, too much blue. Hoping these images can help erase my fears.
